WHO ARE WE?

Founded in 2020, after witnessing the lack of diversity and representation at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe; Piece of Cake Productions (POCP) is a creative hub designed for the community. Breaking down barriers to access and offering opportunities for Black and Global Majority Artists to come together in the creation of impactful, and necessary art.

WHAT DO WE DO?

We’re dedicated to championing and creating access for underrepresented artists. We bridge the gap between them and the spaces that house art through the curation of bespoke, industry-centred events designed with community at heart such as:

  • Theatre Trips - access to see some of the most sought after shows in London

  • Post-show Events - panel discussions and events allowing space for creative discussion and knowledge sharing

  • Film Screenings - Screenings of New Short Films all the way to bespoke screenings of Vintage films, showcasing the talent of Black and GM filmmakers

  • Panel Talks - Spotlighting the unspoken stories and journey’s of creatives making impact in the industry

  • Networking Link-ups - we all know how hard it is to make work in this industry without the connections that come with having a creative community
